Business Development Associate

HebeCell Corp is a biotechnology company focused on translating cutting-edge stem cell technologies into novel cell therapies targeting variety of human diseases such as cancer. Currently we are hiring a Business Development Associate to join our team in Natick, Massachusetts. The BD associate will work closely with the scientific team and management to develop business development strategies that align with the company mission and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in business or related areas
- Relevant industry business development experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in the field of cell therapeutics and/or cell manufacturing preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal/written communication and technical presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with co-workers to establish successful business development objectives
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to travel, attend conferences and conduct presentations
Responsibilities:
- Identifying new leads in the cell therapeutics, cell manufacturing, and other related spaces, establish communication, build relationships, and negotiate business deals
- Participate in the company’s business negotiations of all aspects
- Refine and sharpen current marketing strategies and engage the biotech industry for new leads
- Developing and maintaining a high level of cell therapeutics related knowledge across the company’s pipelines
- Engaging and communicating effectively with senior decision makers (C-level) and periodically present progress updates
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to develop BD strategy that best suits the company’s goals
- Attend Biotech conferences and present the company’s mission and capabilities with the aim of developing new business and supporting the company’s development
- Continuously monitor the markets in relevant fields to identify trends and new opportunities
